Rights Guides

 Making Rights Accessible

In response to requests and feedback from our members and from members of the public, CAJ is devising a series of handy, pocket-sized Rights Guides.

The Guides cover a range of human rights topics and are written in plain English.

Guide 1 looks at the Human Rights Act and can be downloaded here. (PDF, 497 KB)

Guide 2 looks at Stop and Search Powers and can be downloaded here. (PDF, 688 KB)

Guide 3 looks at Protesting and Parading and can be downloaded here. (PDF, 542 KB)

You can also download a poster version of the first guide here. (PDF, 981 KB)

If you would like a hard copy of the first guide, please email us and we will be happy to put a copy in the post for your convenience.  Alternatively, phone the office on 028 9031 6000 to request your copy. Given the changing nature of policy, law and practice hard copies of the other two guides may not be available.
