CAJ welcomed the long overdue announcement of the Secretary of State that he will bring about the "repeal of counter terrorist legislation particular to Northern Ireland".

8th June 2005The Council of Europe Commissioner for Human Rights today released his report on the United Kingdom and called on the government to "encourage and facilitate the organisation of an inclusive round-table on a Bill of Rights for Northern Ireland and the participation of all political parties."
