European Convention on Human Rights
European Convention on Human Rights, 1950
The European Convention on Human Rights Declaration of 1950 was a shining beacon of common sense, with heady expectations, directed at mankind. Its release was onto a dark fearful world still in shock and depression after World War II. The articles were a guiding set of principles for its signatories. It is not too much to hope that these principles seep into the accepted norm of all governments across the world. Sadly this is not always the case
